Sheer

I've been gawking at this sheer maxi dress that American Apparel has been selling for some time now. Recently I came up with the idea of making my own version of the sheer dress. Instead of purchasing the fabric from the fabric store I just gathered up the extra curtain panels I had leftover from redecorating my room. People still can't believe that the dress use to be curtains in its past life lol.

The American Apparel Version

The dress took about an hour and a half to make. I used an old maxi dress as a guide.

Necklace . Lucaya

Heels . Charlotte Russ

I am in love with this dress!!! I plan on making it in every single color known to man!
