Blog Nostalgia | Indecorous Taste

I don't know what it is but this morning has me feeling pretty nostalgic. I'm always being asked what inspired me to start blogging or designing so starting today I will showcase bloggers that influenced me and took apart of molding me into the person I am today .You definitely cannot find blogs like these around the web anymore. The blogs of these ladies would have me up at 3 am when I know damn well  I had to wake up at 6 am to catch the school bus. I remember scrolling through their entire blogs on a daily basis. Yes, their entire blogs! It was seriously an addiction. But I can honestly say that if not for these talented women I would not have picked up blogging or even continued designing. My original intent for this post was to display all of the lovely ladies at one time but  decided it would be better to showcase the blogs one at a time every Thursday for Throwback Thursday til I have displayed them all. 

First up is my all time favorite Indecorous Taste ran by Lauren Tennenbaum.  I discovered Lauren's blog during my first year in college. During that time I was just fiddling with fashion and wasn't sure exactly where I wanted to go with my talent. So I resorted to browsing the web for some ideas and that's when I ran into Indecorous Taste. What I love so much about Lauren is you can't just place her in one category. She excels in fashion, interior design, and shes also an amazing painter. Following her blog all these years taught me not to put limits on the talents God has graced me with. While in college I began taking classes in drawing, ceramics, and sculpture basically any class where I could make use of my creativity.
